President Tsai stressed that when more and more foreign companies choose to invest in Taiwan, Taiwan will continue to occupy a key position in the supply chain. President Tsai said that Google also implements social care and cooperates with non-governmental organizations to help primary and secondary school students obtain more learning resources and shorten the education gap between urban and rural areas. Google today opened its second new hardware R&D office building in Banqiao, New Taipei City, continuing to bring more growth opportunities to Taiwan in the field of technology R&D and innovation. Since the completion of the first hardware R&D office building in 2021, Taiwan has become Google’s largest hardware R&D base outside of its U.S. headquarters, and it is also a strategic location for the development of the global hardware industry.
