The Central Meteorological Administration stated that at 2:26 this morning, a magnitude 6.0 earthquake occurred in the east. The maximum magnitude was 5.0, and the epicenter was south of the Hualien County Government. 29.9 kilometers, located in the eastern waters of Taiwan, with an earthquake depth of 10 kilometers. The Disaster Prevention and Warning System (PWS) transmission threshold is expected to be reached in Hualien County.
