The Huanggang Port is open to the public 24 hours a day. There are five major ways to travel from downtown Hong Kong to the Huanggang/Lok Ma Chau Port. Transportation methods at Huanggang Port|5. Cross-border taxi
Passengers can take cross-boundary taxis to travel between the Mainland and Hong Kong via Lok Ma Chau Port. Cross-border taxis approved by the Guangdong-Hong Kong or Hong Kong-Macao governments will have identification signs printed on the front windshield and rear of the vehicle, with “Cross Boundary Hire Car” and “Cross-Boundary Hire Car” printed on them, and are specially assigned to the relevant vehicles. number to identify and confirm that the cross-border taxi has been approved by the governments of the Mainland and Hong Kong or Macau and Hong Kong.
Passengers renting cross-border taxi services to travel between the Mainland and Hong Kong or Macau and Hong Kong must make an appointment in advance and check the approved cross-border taxi operators on the Transport Department’s website. Shenzhen Bay Port, Lok Ma Chau Port, Sha Tau Kok Port,There are cross-boundary taxi operators at the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, Man Kam To Port and Heung Yuen Wai Port (Liantang Port).

Shenzhen Metro Line 7 Huanggang Port Station is about 150 meters away from Huanggang Port. It is connected by a pedestrian bridge and takes about 5 minutes to walk. Shenzhen Metro Line 7 runs from Tai’an and Tianbei in Luohu District, through Huaqiangbei and Huanggang Port, and ends at Xili Lake. The fare to Futian Port is RMB 2, to Luohu Port is RMB 4, to Dongmen is RMB 3, and to Shenzhen Airport is RMB 8.
