  • Hold a degree from a local university, or equivalent

  • Level 2 (Note 1) or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination, or equivalent qualifications

  • Have good speaking and writing skills in Chinese and English

  • Have good knowledge of computer software applications; and

  • Have good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Note 1: For appointment purposes, Grade E in Chinese Language and English Language (Course B) in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination before 2007 will be administratively regarded as equivalent to those in Chinese Language and English in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination in 2007 or later. Chinese language subject level 2 results.

  • Assist in the preparation and conduct of elections and voter registration work

  • Provide administrative support

  • Carry out outdoor work when necessary; and

  • Perform other assigned duties

  • Note: May be required to work overtime and on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.

  • Applications submitted in person or by post must arrive at the Personnel Department of the Registration and Electoral Office, 8th Floor, Treasury Building, 3 Tonkin Street West, Cheung Sha Wan, Kowloon on or before May 2, 2024. The envelope must be marked with application for “Election Assistant”

  • At this stage, there is no need to submit copies of academic transcripts/diplomas/certificates/other supporting documents.For those holding non-local academic qualifications, they must submit copies of academic transcripts/diplomas/certificates/other supporting documents together with the completed application form

  • Those who submit applications online must mail copies of the required supporting documents to the contact address on or before May 9, 2024, and indicate the online application number on the envelope and copies of each supporting document.
