Passenger traffic in March reached 4.36 million, a year-on-year increase of 56.7%; aircraft movements were 29,800, a year-on-year increase of 8.2%. The Airport Authority said that all categories of passenger traffic at the airport increased, partly benefiting from the Easter holiday that began at the end of March. Among them, flights to and from Southeast Asia, Mainland China and Japan recorded significant increases during the month.

Cargo volume in March increased by 15.1% year-on-year to 428,000 metric tons, with exports continuing to be the main driver, recording a year-on-year growth of 23.7%.
