Badminton mixed doubles team Tang Chun-man and Tse Ying-suet received the most votes for “Hong Kong’s Best Sports Team”, while the Hong Kong men’s foil team and the Hangzhou Asian Games women’s swimming relay team ranked second and third respectively. The Hong Kong men’s football team, which performed well at the Hangzhou Asian Games last year, ranked first in the number of votes for the “Hong Kong’s Best Sports Team” award, ahead of the Hong Kong men’s rugby sevens team, which has won the award five times in the past.
