Chinese writer Liu Cixin serialized the long science fiction novel “The Three-Body Problem” in “Science Fiction World” magazine in 2006. It was later published as a book and won the “China Science Fiction Galaxy Award” in 2006. The English translation won the “Best Novel Award” at the 2015 Hugo Award. , was the first work by an Asian author to win the award, and “The Three-Body Problem” has become one of the best-selling science fiction novels in China. In 2015, “The Three-Body Problem” was adapted into a TV series of the same name in China. This time, Netflix adapted it again. Since the original novel has a trilogy, and the first season of the Netflix version only has 8 episodes, it needs to be greatly condensed, and the story timing and plot must be greatly condensed. Certain adjustments were made to the film and it became “Three-Body” with China and the United Kingdom as the background.
Overthrow human civilization to welcome the arrival of the Trisolarans
